Former Texas Rangers Foundation Frontier Battalion Membership
The Frontier Battalion is comprised of a unique group of donors who will receive limited edition commemorative pieces to signify their donation and status within the Frontier Battalion. In appreciation of their support, these donors will celebrate Texas history by receiving an exclusive, limited edition item commissioned by the Former Texas Rangers Foundation in celebration of their commitment to preserving Texas history. By becoming a member of this exclusive group, limited to only 100 members, these donors will help us keep Texas history alive and make the Texas Rangers Heritage Center a reality.

Donor Levels
Adjutant General To 12 donors $100,000 & up Antique Silver-Plated Colt .45 Single Action Revolver Fully engraved by master engraver Weldon Lister of Boerne, Texas, personalized with donor's name and/or brand with ivory grips. Colt is displayed in walnut case with Texas Ranger badge in Lucite and a limited edition book "A Pictorial History of Texas Rangers" published in 1969 by the late Charles Schreiner III and Foundation Director Emeritus Bob Berryman. This sidearm was the weapon of choice of early Texas Rangers.
Major To 22 donors $75,000 to $99,999 Winchester Model 1873 Reproduction Saddle ring carbine in 44-40 caliber with a 20" barrel, the receiver is antique nickel -plated and engraving is "old style" by master engraver Weldon Lister of Boerne, Texas. A favorite with the Texas Rangers in the Frontier Battalion.
Quartermaster To 22 donors $50,000 to $74,999 Frontier Saddle Circa 1880's Renown saddle maker Double J Saddlery of Yoakum, Texas produced this double rigged "Old Style" saddle with Former Texas Rangers Foundation badge tooled on the skirt.
Ranger To 22 donors $25,000 to $49,999 Silver Spurs Circa 1880's Custom made by Kevin Johnson of Clarendon, Texas, these silver mounted spurs feature "Frontier Battalion" on the shanks and a Ranger star on the buttons with hand made leather straps.
Scout To 22 donors $10,000 to $24,999 Frontier Knife Circa 1880's Custom made by John Spencer with a 10" stainless steel blade and ivory handle. Comes with a handmade leather sheath.
